using unparsed-entity-uri()

markus.sticker.epos

Hello,

I tried to use unparsed-entity-uri() with Saxon.

But I did not received a result:

This is a part of my xsl:

<xsl:stylesheet version="2.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">

  <xsl:output method="text" indent="yes" />

  <xsl:template match="/">

    <xsl:message>....  <xsl:copy-of select="unparsed-entity-uri('csv')" /> </xsl:message>

                               …

This is  a part of my xml:

<?xml version='1.0' encoding='ISO-8859-1'?>

<!DOCTYPE XMLBlock [

<!ENTITY csv SYSTEM "/zfhpsys/tool_int/software_doku/development/tests/docbook_bat/data/feature_management_01/sample_config.csv">]>

<XMLBlock ChapterID="maindoc">

  <CommonDescription ….

What did I wrong?

Thanks for your help.

Kind regards

Markus Sticker

Re: using unparsed-entity-uri()

Michael Kay
That's not an unparsed entity - it's a parsed entity. Unparsed entities look something like this:

<!ENTITY turing_getting_off_bus
         SYSTEM "http://www.turing.org.uk/turing/pi1/bus.jpg"
         NDATA jpeg>

If you want to process parsed entities, take a look at Andrew Welch's lexev tool.
